Dear SATB2 Community:
We hope that the welcome to a new year brings all of us much-needed positive changes from the current pandemic situation.
Unfortunately, these changes are occurring more slowly than we wished for, which means there is still much uncertainty about how and when it will be safe enough for us to come together as a community in person.
Knowing the challenges that COVID-19 imposes on our community, together with travel restrictions and more, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 SATB2-Associated Syndrome International Conference.
That said, we hope to be together – in person – in July, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In the meantime, as we plan to ramp up our virtual programs this year, we are reaching out to you to help us guide our programming for this year and beyond. We’d like to take this opportunity to ask you to each complete our “SATB2 Gene Foundation Planning Survey” to not only help guide us for this year’s virtual programming, but to also help shape the direction of the Foundation as we begin to draft our next strategic plan for 2022-24. In exchange for your time, we will randomly draw 5 winners for a $50 Amazon Gift Card for those who complete by February 12, 2021.
We look forward to hearing from each of you, no matter where you live, about how we can best serve our community. It takes a village and we have such an amazing village that supports each other.
